This is because after crossing a mini field, children reach school, but as soon as it rains, the field starts filling with water, due to which children are unable to reach school and have to be given leave. The government school located in Kalakhet ground of Balaganj area of the city is far away from the eyes of the government. Due to which the students are having to suffer the consequences. Due to excessive rainfall during the rainy season, the problem of waterlogging on the grounds is increasing year by year, due to which it becomes difficult for school students and teachers teaching here to come. Therefore, when it rains, children are deprived of education.
The plan for building a mini stadium on the Kalakhet ground was prepared in the year 2000 and the bhoomi pujan of the stadium was done in the year 2002. At that time the then Chief Minister himself came to Mandsaur and laid the foundation stone of the mini stadium. Even after 21 years from 2002 to 2023 i.e. the dream of a mini stadium on the Kalakhet ground has not been fulfilled. Actually, a plan was prepared to improve the ground and build a hockey and basketball court here. At that time, due to some reason, the work of building the stadium could not start, which is still pending.
