The wait is over! History’s most ‘powerful’ bullet unveiled, company launches it in Goa
New Delhi. Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has finally made its debut in India at the ongoing Motoverse Festival in Goa. This motorcycle was first showcased at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. Although the official launch date has not been announced yet, the Bullet 650 is expected to arrive in early 2026. It will be positioned between the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Classic and its price is likely to start around Rs 3.40 lakh.
Color and Design
Buyers will have two color options – Canon Black and Battleship Blue. In terms of design and styling, the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 shares a lot of similarity with the Bullet 350. It includes the signature circular LED headlight “Tiger-Eye” pilot lamps, teardrop fuel tank with winged RE badge and hand-painted pinstripes, single-piece seat, squared-off rear fender and raised chrome handlebar.
Platform and Features
Based on a steel tubular spine frame, the RE Bullet 650 offers a semi-digital instrument cluster, which includes an analog speedometer along with digital insets for fuel level, gear position, trip meter and service reminder. It also has a USB Type-C charging port, turn-by-turn navigation and adjustable brake and clutch levers.
Tyres, Brakes, Suspension
The bike is assembled with 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels shod with tubed tyres. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc and 300mm rear disc brake, which is further enhanced by dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The suspension setup includes 43mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. The curb weight of the bike is 243kg and it has a fuel tank capacity of 14.8-litres.
Engine, Power and Gearbox
Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is powered by a 647.95cc, twin-cylinder, inline, 4-stroke SOHC engine, which generates maximum power of 47bhp at 7,250rpm and torque of 52.3Nm at 5,150rpm. This is the same engine which is also used in the 650cc twins. The transmission comprises a 6-speed constant mesh and wet multi-plate clutch.
engine: It is a 349 cc air-oil cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is also used in the Classic 350 and Hunter 350.
Power and Torque: This engine generates maximum power of 20.20 bhp at 6100 rpm and maximum torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm.
Refinement: Using the J-Series platform, engine noise and vibrations have been significantly reduced, making long distance journeys more comfortable than ever. It retains the ‘thump’ of the old Bullet, but in a much smoother manner.
Braking: The Bullet 350 now comes with single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). Dual-channel ABS and rear disc brake are also available in expensive variants.
Instrumentation: It has an analog speedometer which also has a small digital screen, which gives information about the odometer and trip meter.
Charging: For modern convenience, it is also provided with a USB charging port.
