The wait is over! Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes in new avatar, will reach showroom after knowing the price


New Delhi. The new Bajaj Pulsar 150 was recently spotted at the dealership, which had increased the curiosity among consumers about the updated version of the bike. Now Bajaj Auto has launched the new version of Pulsar 150 in the Indian market, the starting price of which has been kept at Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, the price of its high variants Pulsar 150 SD UG and TD (Twin Disc) UG is Rs 1.12 lakh and Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Bajaj Pulsar is one of the older models of the company and it also brings good sales for the company. To attract customers, the company has given a slight design update in it. However, no changes have been made in the mechanical parts of the bike.

Design
Talking about design, the classic and muscular look of Pulsar 150 remains intact. The biggest change in this is the new LED headlight setup, with which LED turn signals are also provided. Bajaj has tried to give it a little modern touch while maintaining the traditional look of the bike. The fuel tank, clip-on handlebar, split seat design, alloy wheels and exhaust style remain the same.

mechanical features
Talking about mechanical features, no changes have been made in Pulsar 150. It has the same 149.5 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as before, which generates about 13.8 bhp and 13.4 Nm torque. It is provided with a 5-speed gearbox. According to recent reports, the company is also preparing the next generation version of Pulsar, in which a new powertrain can be seen.

Engine fitted in double cradle frame
Its engine is fitted in a double cradle frame, which is supported by telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-charged shocks at the rear. The twin disc variant has 260 mm disc brake at the front and 230 mm disc brake at the rear. The single disc variant has a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. The bike has 17 inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres.

These features are also present
With the 2024 update, a new digital instrument cluster has been given in Pulsar 150, which is also seen in Pulsar N150 and N160. It provides important information like gear position, real-time fuel efficiency, average fuel consumption, distance to empty and digital clock. Apart from this, it also has Bluetooth connectivity through Bajaj Ride Connect app, which also provides call and notification alerts.
