Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 launched in new avatar, know complete details from price to features here
New Delhi. Suzuki Motorcycle India has updated its 250cc motorcycle range with new color options and fresh graphics. This includes Gixxer SF 250 and Gixxer 250. After this update, the look of both the models has become even more attractive, which like before, are being offered as performance-oriented bikes in the quarter-litre segment.
- The fully-faired Gixxer SF 250 is now available in two new colours: Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Glacier White/Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No.
- Apart from this, the existing metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White MotoGP-inspired scheme will also continue. At the same time, the Gixxer 250 Streetfighter has also got three new color options: Pearl Glacier White/Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No.2, Metallic Triton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black.

Engine and Power
Both the motorcycles have a 249cc single-cylinder SOHC engine, which generates power of 26.5bhp at 9,300rpm and torque of 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm. Suzuki’s SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology has been provided in it. Additionally, there is Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) for better thermal efficiency and consistent performance. Built on a strong yet lightweight chassis, these bikes promise excellent handling, stability on straight roads and everyday riding comfort.
Features
Talking about the features, these include LED headlamps and tail-lamps, Bluetooth-equipped digital instrument console (with Suzuki Ride Connect), newly designed 10-spoke alloy wheels with brushed finish and Suzuki Easy Start System. An E85 flex-fuel variant of the Gixxer SF 250 is also available.
Price and Benefits
The ex-showroom price of Gixxer SF 250 is Rs 1,89,768, while the price of Gixxer 250 has been kept at Rs 1,81,517 (ex-showroom). Suzuki is offering insurance savings of up to Rs 12,000 and extended warranty on the SF 250, while benefits of up to Rs 10,000 can be availed on the Gixxer 250. Customers can also avail finance up to 100 per cent, low interest rates starting from 7.99 per cent and no-hypothecation option, subject to eligibility.
National Endurance Record Holder
Engagement and Brand Initiatives Gixxer SF 250 recently created a national endurance record by covering a distance of 3,259 km in 24 hours. This is the only 250cc motorcycle in India to achieve this feat. The company is also expanding its Gixxer Pit Stop Experiential Program to major cities in the country, which includes test rides, DIY maintenance sessions, exchanges, upgrades and interactions with local riding clubs.
