New Delhi. The ICC T20 World Cup has not even started yet injuries to players are continuing. Ryan Rickelton and Tristan Stubbs have been included in South Africa’s squad for next month’s T20 World Cup, replacing injured Tony de Jorzi and Donovan Ferreira. De Jorzi suffered a right hamstring injury during last year’s tour of India, while Ferreira suffered an injury in the ongoing SA20 tournament.

Both players are also out of the three-match home T20 series against West Indies. Last time runner-up South Africa is also worried about the availability of David Miller. Cricket South Africa said in a statement that De Jorji has not fully recovered from the injury sustained during the ODI series against India, hence he will not be able to play in the T20 series and World Cup.

Ferreira suffered a fractured left collarbone in the match between Joburg Super Kings and Pretoria Capitals on 17 January, and was replaced by Rickelton and Stubbs. David Miller is also out of the SA20 knockout matches. Miller suffered an adductor muscle injury while playing for Paarl Royals on January 19, so he will not play in the T20 series against West Indies.

Rubin Harman has been included in the team in place of Miller for the series against West Indies. Miller’s availability for the T20 World Cup will depend on the results of his fitness test.
