According to leaked reports, tech giant Apple is preparing to launch its first foldable iPhone soon, which is expected to increase the tension of Samsung. It is being told that its price can go up to Rs 2 lakh. With this entry of Apple, the competition in the foldable segment is going to become even more interesting. Although Apple has not made any announcement about it yet, the new leak reveals the possible look, design and possible launch date of the iPhone Fold.

According to a tipster post surfaced on Weibo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone may look different from its traditional design. It is claimed that instead of matching the body color in iPhone Fold, a separate all-black camera strip can be given. This strip is likely to include two horizontal cameras, a microphone and flash.

Volume button can shift to the upper edge
According to the leak, the volume buttons can be shifted to the top edge, which is said to be inspired by the design of the iPad mini. Along with this, there is also talk of return of Touch ID. The company can add a new camera control button in the foldable phone. Apart from this, the color options of the phone can be limited.

7.8 inch inner OLED screen
According to the leak, the device may have a 7.8-inch inner OLED screen and a 5.5-inch outer display. Reports also say that A20 Pro chipset is expected to be found in iPhone Fold. Around 5500 mAh battery can be provided in it. Two 48MP rear cameras can be found in the phone. At the same time, Apple can get two 18MP front cameras for selfie and video calling.

How much will iPhone Fold cost?
However, no information has been revealed by the company regarding iPhone Fold. According to the current leak, iPhone Fold can be launched between 3-9 September 2026. Talking about the price, the starting price of iPhone Fold in India can be around Rs 1,99,900 i.e. around Rs 2 lakh. The reason for this is believed to be premium material, new display technology and Apple’s high-end hardware. In terms of price, this device can be more expensive than Samsung’s current foldable phones.
