New Delhi. Samsung launched its latest Galaxy S11 series tablets, Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11 Ultra at the Galaxy Unpacked event. These tablets are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which has an 8400 mAh battery for the S11 and an 11,600 mAh battery for the S11 Ultra. The company had already hinted that it was planning to launch these tablets and had said that the premium AI tablets would be the main attraction of the Galaxy event to be held on September 4. Other devices were also launched in this event, like the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S11 and S11 Ultra displays
The Samsung Galaxy S11 sports an 11-inch display, while the S11 Ultra sports a 14.6-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits of brightness. The display supports Vision Booster and has IP68 dust and water resistance protection. Additionally, the screen-to-body ratio of these devices is 83 and 90 percent respectively, which is much higher than the previous generation.
Samsung Galaxy S11 and S11 Ultra processor and software
Galaxy S11 and S11 Ultra have MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, which was seen in last year’s flagship smartphones. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ is paired with 12GB of RAM, and storage options will range from 128GB to 1TB in the Galaxy S11 Ultra. This chipset is based on TSMC’s latest 3nm fabrication technology, which provides better thermals and performance optimization.
The 128GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 comes with UFS 4.0 storage, while the 256GB and 512GB options also support UFS 4.0 for onboard storage. It ships with Android 16-based One UI 8. It will get OS and security updates for seven years. The handset comes with free Google AI Pro for six months. It also includes Google’s Circle to Search, Gemini Live and other AI features.

Talking about the camera, both Samsung Galaxy S11 tablets have a 13MP primary camera; However, the S11 Ultra also has an additional 8MP ultra-wide sensor. In the selfie camera, both the devices have a 12MP selfie sensor. The cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps. The phone also has a 12-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. It supports AI-backed editing tools like Generative Edit.

Its thickness is 5.1mm, whereas the thickness of S11 Ultra is 5.4mm. The S11 weighs 492g, while the S11 Ultra weighs 692g.
