Xiaomi has announced its new budget smartphone Redmi 15 5G in India. This phone will be launched on 19th August. This phone of the company will be an upgraded version of Redmi 13 which came last year. This phone comes with many powerful features, the most special of which is the large 7,000mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor.

The biggest feature of Redmi 15 5G is its 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which can provide about 12.75 hours of BGMI gaming time and up to 23.5 hours of YouTube playback on a single charge. Xiaomi is calling it a technology coming for the first time in the segment. The phone will also have 18W reverse charging support, so that it can be used as a portable power bank.

The design of Redmi 15 5G looks quite different and premium from Redmi 13. Its camera module is made of aerospace-grade metal while the back body is made of polycarbonate. The phone will be offered in three color options Midnight Black, Frosted Black and Sandy Purple.

A large 6.9-inch display is provided in the front, which is said to have 144Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi claims that this will be the safest display for eyes in this segment.

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor will be provided in Redmi 15 5G. This phone works on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 14. Apart from this, it also has a 50 megapixel dual AI rear camera setup, which will give a great photography experience.

How much can the price be?
At present, Xiaomi has not revealed the price yet, but it is expected that this phone can be launched for around Rs 15,000, as was the price of the previous Redmi 13.
