Poco M8 5G launching soon in India, the thinnest and lightest 5G smartphone.
Poco is preparing to launch its new 5G smartphone Poco M8 5G in India soon. The company has not yet revealed the complete specification sheet of the phone, but teasers are being released continuously regarding the design. Now Poco has officially shared the information about the thickness and weight of the phone and has claimed that it will be the thinnest and lightest smartphone in its segment.
Poco has told on social media platform The company says that this will be the slimmest and lightest phone in this segment, which can make it comfortable for long periods of use.
Talking about design, a curved frame can be seen in the phone, which can be made of metal. A textured back panel and slightly embossed camera module can be provided at the rear.
According to the teaser image, Poco M8 5G will have a square shaped camera deco at the back, in which a triple camera setup will be available. The promotional poster seen on Flipkart also hints that the camera module will be centre-aligned. The power button and volume keys will be provided on the right side of the phone, while the left side can be kept largely clean. Apart from this, the phone is also expected to have a curved display, which will give it a premium look.
The camera will be very powerful
Although Poco has not yet given complete information related to processor, display size or charging, but the company has confirmed that the phone will have a 50MP AI camera. This camera will be part of the triple rear camera setup, with which LED flash will also be provided. Poco M8 5G will be sold in India through Flipkart, although the launch date has not been revealed yet.
According to reports, there may be two models in the Poco M8 series – Poco M8 5G and Poco M8 Pro 5G. This phone can come in black, blue and dual-tone silver-black color options. It is being said that the Pro variant will have the option of 8GB to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It can also be provided with Android 15 based HyperOS 2 and a large 6,330mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
Looking at all the features, it would not be wrong to say that Poco M8 5G seems to be especially targeting those users who want a stylish, light and thin 5G smartphone. Only after the launch will it become clear how powerful this phone proves to be in the budget segment.
