Lakhimpur Kheri: When Rajneesh, a class 10 student from Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, could not buy an expensive bike, he made a bike from scrap. He claims that he bought items from scrap metal for just Rs 3,000 and built a bike that travels 120 km on one liter of petrol.
A student of class 10 bought material from scrap and prepared a bike that can travel up to 120 km on one liter of petrol. Rajneesh Kumar, a class 10 student living in the town of Kotwali area in Mailani of Lakhimpur Kheri, wanted to buy an expensive bike, but could not do so due to lack of money. But he succeeded in making a Jugaad bike at a cost of about ₹ 3000 by purchasing scrap material. It claims that this bike runs up to 120 kilometers on one liter of petrol.
Rajneesh Kumar, a class 10 student, told that he did not have money to buy an expensive bike. He had a great desire to ride a bike, so he thought of making a cheap bike which would make it easier to go to school and go anywhere. For this, he used the petrol spraying machine in the fields which the farmer had sold as scrap after it broke down.
He bought it from scrap, took out the motor, repaired it, bought some motorcycle accessories and made some modifications on a bicycle and fitted that motor in it. After about a week’s hard work, he converted that bicycle into a bike. Now this Jugaad bike runs at a speed of about 30 kilometers per hour and covers a distance of about 120 kilometers in 1 litre.
