Motorola Razr’s new foldable smartphone to be launched soon, challenging Samsung

Motorola is once again in the headlines and this time the reason is the company’s first book-style foldable smartphone. Till now Motorola has been known for its flip foldable phones, i.e. Razr series, but latest leaks indicate that the company is now preparing to give direct competition to phones like Samsung Galaxy Z Fold.

Famous tipster Evan Blass has shared an image on social media platform X, which is being said to be a promotional teaser of Motorola’s upcoming foldable phone. In this teaser the name of the phone is seen written as ‘Razr fold’. This clearly indicates that Motorola is now going to enter the notebook-style foldable segment by taking forward its Razr branding.

Three important things have come to light in the teaser. First, the name of the phone may be Razor Fold. Secondly, Motorola claims that this device will come with a great display, smart AI features and advanced camera system.

Thirdly, the company has said that it will share more information in the ‘coming months’, which means the launch may still be some way away.

Although the specifications of Razer Fold have not been revealed yet, but it is believed that this phone will be launched to compete with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. If this happens, it will be Motorola’s first book-style foldable smartphone, which will give a tablet-like experience when opened.

Interestingly, Motorola is going to launch its Signature series on January 7. In such a situation, it is expected that the first glimpse of Razr Fold can be shown during this event. Some reports also say that the company can tease this phone in a big tech event like CES.

Apart from this, Evan Blass has shared another image related to Motorola Signature phone, in which ultra-slim design, long battery life, four 50MP cameras and next generation AI features are mentioned. Overall, Motorola seems to be preparing to expand its smartphone portfolio to a big level in the coming months.
