LG launches the thinnest and brightest OLED evo W6 TV at CES 2026
In CES 2026, LG has once again made a big bet in the TV market. The company has made it clear that it is going to target every segment in 2026. On one hand, LG is bringing new Micro RGB technology in its Mini-LED TV, while on the other hand, it has also brought back its famous Wallpaper TV series after a long wait. The new model of this series is LG OLED evo W6, which is commonly called LG’s Wallpaper TV.
LG’s W-Series was last seen in 2019 and now after almost six years, this series is in the news again. LG OLED evo W6 has been specially designed for those who want to make the TV a part of the wall and not just for viewing. The company claims that this is the thinnest and brightest OLED TV ever.
The design is like painting
Talking about design, LG OLED Evo W6 is just 9mm thick. That means, after being applied on the wall, it almost feels like a painting. LG has also designed its wall mount in such a way that the TV appears completely stuck to the wall without any gap. Zero Connect Box is also available with it, through which all the inputs of the TV can be kept at a distance of 10 meters. Due to this, only one power cable goes to the TV and the look remains very clean.
LG has given new Hyper Radiant Color Technology in this TV, due to which the black level and color have become much better. Besides, it also has a new anti-reflective screen, due to which reflection is less visible on the screen even in a well-lit room.
Regarding brightness, LG claims that the W6 is about 3.9 times brighter than a normal OLED TV. In simple language, this TV will show much brighter and detailed visuals while watching HDR content. While LG’s older OLED models went up to around 600 nits, the brightness level of the W6 is said to be above 2,000 nits.
At present, the company has not given any official information regarding the price and sale date of LG OLED evo W6 ( Wallpaper TV). LG has described it as the leading model of its entire TV lineup of 2026, which makes it clear that it will be a premium segment product and its price will also be higher than the common OLED TV.
Size is 77 inches and 83 inches
Talking about size, LG has confirmed that the OLED Evo W6 will be launched in larger display options of 77 inches and 83 inches. That means this TV has been specially designed for big living rooms and luxury setups. Small sizes will not be included in this series at present.
Overall, the W6 has been prepared by LG as its most special offering of 2026. The price may be high, but looking at the design, brightness and technology, this TV seems to be targeting high-end customers. LG can share complete information related to its price and availability in the coming months.
