Kia gave a gift to customers: Prices of cars reduced by Rs 4.48 lakh, Carnival, Seltos and Sonet now become cheaper.

New Delhi. Before the festive season, Kia India has given big relief to the customers. The company has reduced the prices of many models including its Carnival, Seltos and Sonet by up to Rs 4.48 lakh. The biggest price reduction has been seen on Kia’s luxury MPV Carnival. The company has made this model cheaper by Rs 4.48 lakh, which will provide relief to families buying big and premium vehicles. At the same time, the price of Kia’s new Cyrus model has also been reduced by up to Rs 1.86 lakh. These changes will come into effect from 22 September 2025.

Reduction on Seltos, Sonnet and Currency also
The company’s popular models Seltos, Sonet and Currency have also become affordable now. There has been a price cut of up to ₹ 75,372 on mid-size SUV Seltos. At the same time, compact SUV Sonet has now become cheaper by Rs 1.64 lakh. Relief of up to Rs 48,513 has also been given to family buyers on their preferred currency. The company believes that these steps will increase customer demand and accelerate sales during the festive season.

Benefited from government’s decision
In fact, recently the GST Council has reduced the tax rate on small vehicles from 28 percent to 18 percent. After this decision, Kia announced to provide complete relief to the customers. Kia India CEO Gwanggu Lee said, ‘We welcome this step of the government and are fully committed to providing more affordable options to customers.’ At the same time, like Kia, Hyundai company has also reduced the prices of its cars. Under this, there has been a reduction of up to Rs 73,808 on Nios and up to Rs 2.40 lakh on Tuscon.

TVS also reduced prices
Along with this, automobile company JSW MG Motor also announced a reduction in the prices of its vehicles ranging from Rs 54,000 to Rs 3.04 lakh. The company has made the new prices effective from September 7. Meanwhile, TVS Motor Company of the two-wheeler sector also announced to pass on the full benefit of reduction in GST rates on all its petrol vehicles to the customers from September 22. However, the company did not share the details of price cuts for different models.
