Jadeja attacks KL Rahul: Ajay Jadeja raised questions about Rahul’s leadership

Along with Rohit Sharma, Rahul’s name is being heard as Kohli’s next T20 captain. But in the current IPL, his team Punjab has been knocked out of the playoffs. His team has repeatedly collapsed in moments of pressure. At such a moment, former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja commented that he does not think that Rahul is a captain! Ajay Jadeja told Cricbuzz, ‘If you look at Rahul, he has been the captain of the Punjab team for two years. I never thought he was a leader.

This team, good times or bad, can never be distinguished. Someone is made captain of India with his philosophy and personality. Because, he has to be a leader. I haven’t seen that in Rahul yet. Because he is soft spoken and accepts everything. If he ever becomes captain, he will surely last for a long time. Because a person who accepts everything can survive in this place.

Jadeja also said, ‘A captain should have certain qualities. Whether I agree with his style or philosophy or not, the Indian captain should at least have some philosophy. Because, there is a lot of difference between the captaincy of IPL team and Indian team. I don’t know him personally. He has the consistency of Dhoni. He must now become a leader. People will argue about the captain’s decision. But in the case of Rahul, that is not the case in IPL teams either. Because he didn’t take any responsibility himself, he let others run the team.’

Jadeja feels that if Rahul can show a little more personality as a captain, he will go a long way. As a senior, he wants to see Jr. Rahul as a future captain. But Rahul can never become a worthy leader if his mistakes are hidden. So Jadeja requested that Rahul should not take this criticism badly.
