Itel A100 launching soon in India, with UltraLink feature and 5000mAh battery.
Itel has confirmed the soon launch of its new budget smartphone Itel A100 in India. The company shared official teasers on X (earlier Twitter) on Friday, which revealed the phone’s design, color options and some important features. The Itel A100 is considered to be the successor to the Itel A90 launched last year and will be offered in the sub-₹8,000 segment.
According to the official teaser, Itel A100 will be launched in three attractive colors: Pure Black, Silk Green and Titanium Gold. The phone has a flat frame and square edge design, which gives it a premium look. Matte finish is seen on the back panel.
Talking about camera design, it has a square-circle (Squircle) shaped camera module, which is similar to smartphones like OnePlus 13s and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The camera island includes two circular camera cutouts and an LED flash. A small Itel logo is also present in the middle on the back side.
Features and Specifications
According to the live microsite on Itel’s website, Itel A100 will be provided with military-grade durability, which makes it different in this price range. For power, the phone will have a powerful battery of 5,000mAh, which will make long-term use possible.
Talking about the display, it will have a screen with 90Hz refresh rate, which is considered a big upgrade for a budget smartphone.
UltraLink feature becomes special
The most special feature of itel A100 is its UltraLink support. With the help of this feature, users will be able to make voice calls on selected devices even in areas without network. Apart from this, IR blaster will also be available in the phone, through which users will be able to control the electronic appliances of their home. The company claims that Itel A100 will be the strongest smartphone in the segment priced below ₹ 8,000.
Expected launch and price
Although Itel has not yet disclosed the launch date, but it is believed that its price can be kept around Itel A90 (₹ 6,499). In such a situation, Itel A100 can become a great option for budget users.
