iQOO launched its flagship smartphone iQOO 15 in November, and now it looks like another new model may be added to this series soon. Recently, a new iQOO smartphone has been spotted on a certification website, hinting at its soon launch. The name of this new phone is being said to be iQOO 15R.
An unannounced smartphone of iQOO has been listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, whose model number is I2508. In this listing the name of the phone is clearly written as iQOO 15R. Usually, when a phone appears on a website like Bluetooth SIG, it means that the company is in the final stages of its launch preparations. However, not much information related to the features or design of the phone has been given in this listing.
Interestingly, earlier this same model number was also seen on the IMEI database, where its name was mentioned as iQOO Neo 11. At that time it was being said that this phone is being prepared for both India and the global market. But now it seems clear from the Bluetooth SIG listing that the company can launch it with the name of iQOO 15R.
According to reports, iQOO 15R may actually be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo coming to China. If this happens, then powerful hardware can be seen in this phone. It is being said that it will be provided with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is known for high performance.
Camera can be special
According to leaks, iQOO 15R can get a larger 6.59 inch display. Talking about the camera, the phone can be provided with a 200 megapixel ‘ultra-clear’ primary camera, which photography enthusiasts will like. This phone can also be premium in terms of design, which is expected to have metal frame, glass back and rounded corners.
Apart from this, there is also talk of getting IP68 and IP69 rating in the phone, due to which it will give better protection from water and dust. There is a possibility of providing ultrasonic fingerprint scanner in it for security. At present, the company has not given any official information regarding the launch date of iQOO 15R, but from the way this phone is visible on certification sites, it is clear that the launch is not far away.
