Honda Shine enters in a new avatar! Same engine, but the design changed completely
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has recently unveiled the Limited Edition version of its most popular commuter bike Honda Shine 125. This special edition is mainly based on the Shine 125 Disc variant and is expected to be launched in the Indian market soon. This edition has been specially designed for those riders who want style and premium look in daily commuting.
This edition focuses only on visual upgrades, so that the price of the bike does not increase much. The ex-showroom price of the standard Shine 125 Disc is around Rs 80852, while the limited edition is likely to carry a premium of Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000. What’s new?
The biggest feature of this limited edition is its refreshed and premium look. It has a new Pearl Siren Blue color scheme, which comes with dark blue finish. The fuel tank features prominent Shine graphics, which are exclusive to this edition. These graphics make the bike dynamic and attractive.

The alloy wheels are painted in Pyrite Brown finish, which adds a premium touch to the standard model. The design updates extend to the front visor, side cover and rear cowl, making the overall appearance of the bike more stylish and appealing to young riders. These cosmetic changes give the bike a distinct identity in the showroom and give it a special edition feel.
Does it remain the same?
No changes have been made in the mechanical and performance parts. The engine is the same 123.94 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, which is PGM-FI and BS-VI (OBD2B Compliant, E20 fuel supported). This engine generates 10.6 hp power and 11 Nm torque. It is known for its reliability, low vibration and excellent mileage (approximately 55-60 kmpl).
Transmission is 5-speed. There is telescopic suspension at the front, dual shock absorber at the rear and the frame is diamond type. Features are also like standard. It includes fully digital meter, Idling Stop System, 15W USB-C port charging, disc brake (front). No new hardware like LED headlights or ABS has been added.
