Till now, Motorola had made a mark in the foldable segment through its Razr flip phone, but in CES 2026, the company has taken a big step and introduced its first book-style foldable phone – Motorola Razr Fold. This phone has been brought keeping in mind those users who are looking for a large display and premium foldable experience. Talking about the display, the Motorola Razr Fold has an 8.1-inch 2K LTPO display on the inside, which is similar to most book-style foldables today. On the outside, a 6.1-inch OLED cover display is available, which is tall but not wide. However, LTPO support is not provided in it. Being a first generation phone, there is a slight crease visible on the screen, which is common in this category.
Which processor will it be?
The company has not yet clarified anything regarding the processor and battery of the phone, but it is expected that the latest Snapdragon or MediaTek flagship chipset will be given in it. Talking about software, it will run on Android 16 based Hello UI, in which some special apps of Motorola will already be present.
A special feature of this foldable is the support of Motorola Pen Ultra stylus. This feature may be liked by those users who want to take notes or draw on a larger display. It is expected that Motorola will give this pen in the box along with the phone.
The camera section is also quite powerful. There will be a triple camera setup at the back, which includes 50MP Sony Lytia primary sensor, 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens and 50MP ultra-wide camera. For selfie, a 20MP camera is provided inside and 32MP outside, through which photos and videos can be taken from both sides.
