BCCI IPL: BCCI signed a three-year sponsorship deal of Rs 270 crore with Google’s Gemini before IPL 2026, Chat is among the sponsors of GPT Women’s Premier League.
IPL sponsorshipNew Delhi: BCCI has signed a sponsorship deal of Rs 270 crore with Google’s AI platform Gemini before the Indian Premier League 2026. Gemini’s rival company Chat is one of the sponsors of the GPT Women’s Premier League.
A BCCI official told PTI, ‘This agreement is for three years and reflects the global appeal of IPL. BCCI had to find a new sponsor for the jersey last year when the Indian government banned real money gaming platforms like Dream 11.
Later, Apollo Tire became the new sponsor of the jersey after a deal worth Rs 579 crore. Tata Group holds the title sponsorship rights of IPL. IPL 2026 will be played from 26 March to 31 May this year.
