Tata Motors made a great start by selling around 10 thousand passenger vehicles on the very first day of Navratri. The company says that after the implementation of the new GST system, the direct impact of the reduction in prices is visible on the demand of the customers. According to Tata Motors, on the first day of Navratri, more than 25 thousand customers across the country came to the showroom and made enquiries. The company also said that in view of the festive season, it is giving full benefits of new rates and attractive offers to the customers.

Crowd of customers and increased booking
Amit Kamat, Chief Commercial Officer, Passenger Vehicle Division, Tata Motors said that the number of customers in the showroom is continuously increasing. There has been a sharp jump in both inquiries and bookings. He said that in view of the festive rush at the dealership, the working hours have also been extended so that the demand of maximum customers can be met. The company’s popular models Nexon and Punch remain in highest demand.

New hopes in festivals
The company says that booking and supply preparations are strong and it is ready to create new sales records in this festive season. Along with Tata Motors, other vehicle manufacturing companies have also started the festive season on a strong note. Maruti Suzuki sold 30 thousand vehicles on the first day of Navratri, while Hyundai Motor India recorded sales of 11 thousand vehicles. It is clear from this that the purchases of customers are increasing rapidly and the auto sector is ready to take a new flight in the festive season.

New splendor in the market
The demand in the auto sector during big festivals like Navratri indicates that sales may increase further in the coming days. Other companies including Tata Motors are offering special offers and attractive schemes to woo customers. In such a situation, it is expected that the car sales graph will go higher by Diwali.
