KTM India updated KTM RC 160 – new colors, price ₹ 1.84 lakh, know complete details
KTM India has recently updated the KTM RC 160 with new colors. A few weeks after the launch, the company launched two new shades. Electronic Orange Mat and Ceramic White Mat. These are available with the existing black color, making a total of three options. There are no mechanical changes. The engine is the same 164.2 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, which produces 19 PS power and 15.5 Nm torque.
There has been no change in its price also. Customers can buy it at a price of ₹ 1,84,998 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The design of the 2026 KTM RC 160 is inspired by MotoGP, which focuses on high-performance aerodynamics. The bodywork from the front fender to the tail section provides stability at speed. The new split-trellis frame is lighter and stiffer, improving handling. The seats have been redesigned with more comfortable foam for the rider and pillion.
Adjustable handlebars are flexible for racing or street riding. The electronic orange mat in new colors gives a race-inspired vibrant look. Whereas the ceramic white matte with orange accents and wheels offers a clean and minimalistic appearance. The full LED headlamps, integrated indicators and DRLs are segment-first. Overall, the design balances racing DNA with everyday use.
Engine and Specifications
The RC 160 is powered by a 164.2 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, FI engine. It generates 19 PS power and 15.5 Nm torque. Fuel tank capacity is 13.5 litres. The chassis is based on the new generation split-trellis frame, the subframe is bolt-on type. Suspension consists of front 37 mm WP APEX USD forks and rear WP APEX adjustable monoshock. Talking about brakes, there is front 320 mm disc radially mounted caliper and rear 230 mm disc. Wheels are lightweight, soft compound tires increase grip. The knee area that is ergonomic in dimensions makes movement easy on the track. Top speed is estimated at around 120 km/h.

This bike is equipped with class-leading tech. LCD dash shows speed, RPM, gear position, DTE, average speed and fuel consumption. Shift and peak RPM are customizable. Dual-channel Supermoto ABS controls brake pressure in cornering with Supermoto mode. Headlamps, taillights, pilot lamps have full LED lighting everywhere. Rider aids include optimized airbox (40% larger) for increased mid-range torque. SOHC cylinder head provides efficient airflow. The cooling system is curved radiator and fan-assisted.
