Triumph will soon launch 350 cc bike, Rajiv Bajaj himself confirmed the news.
A big update is about to come in the Indian two-wheeler market. Actually, Triumph Motorcycles is preparing to launch its new 350cc range of bikes in April 2026. This news has been confirmed by Bajaj Auto Managing Director and CEO Rajiv Bajaj in a recent interview. Triumph is a British brand and it is working in partnership with Bajaj Auto in India.
Rajiv Bajaj said in an interview to CNBC TV18 that these downsized 350cc Triumph models will be available in the market by April 2026. Earlier, after the change in GST rates in November, Bajaj had confirmed the development of sub-350cc KTM and Triumph bikes. Now from this recent update it has become clear that these new bikes of Triumph will soon run on Indian roads.
Future plan of Triumph and Bajaj
The partnership between Triumph and Bajaj has been going on since 2017 and before this they have launched successful models like Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. These bikes have 400cc engines and are popular in the premium segment. Now efforts are being made to make the brand more affordable with the 350cc range.
It is expected that these new bikes will directly compete with Royal Enfield’s 350cc range, such as the Classic 350 and Hunter 350. The 350cc segment is huge in the Indian market, where Royal Enfield dominates and Triumph’s entry could prove to be a game-changer here.
What can be expected?
According to reports, models like the new Triumph Speed 350 may be coming, whose estimated price may start from ₹ 2,20,000. These bikes will be manufactured at Bajaj’s Chakan plant, where Triumph is already assembled. The engine will be 350cc, which can be single-cylinder, air-cooled or liquid-cooled and in terms of performance, it can give power up to 25-30 horsepower.
possible design
The design will have Triumph’s classic British styling, like retro look, round headlamps and modern features. It is going to include elements like digital instrument cluster, ABS and LED lighting.
This launch is important for the Indian two-wheeler market, as many companies are repositioning their products after the GST reforms. Rajiv Bajaj said that this range will make Triumph more accessible, especially for young riders who want a premium brand. This may also increase the sales of Bajaj, because the current models of Triumph are performing well.
Market analysts believe that this move will help Triumph strengthen in India, where the demand for premium bikes is increasing. Apart from Royal Enfield, companies like Honda and Hero are also active in this segment. If Triumph’s new range is balanced in terms of performance, style and price, then it can be successful. Besides, export opportunities will also increase as Bajaj exports Triumph bikes to the global market.
