Sony WF-1000XM6
Sony has launched its new flagship wireless earbuds Sony WF-1000XM6 in the global market. The company has been maintaining a strong hold in the audio segment for the last several years through its WH-1000 and WF-1000 series. Now the new WF-1000XM6 model comes with better Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), new design and advanced audio technology.
Talking about the price, Sony WF-1000XM6 has been launched for $329.99 (approximately Rs 34,900). It is available in black and silver color options. Currently, its sales have started in America, while it is expected to be launched in India by the end of this year.
The company has made a big change in terms of design. Both the charging case and the earbuds have been given a new look, which is reminiscent of the old WF-1000XM3. The earbuds are said to be about 11 percent slimmer than before and have been designed in such a way that they fit better inside the ears, which also improves noise isolation.
For performance, these earbuds have dual processors, which support 32-bit audio processing. The company claims that with the new driver unit, deep bass output will be available even at high frequencies. The biggest upgrade is said to be in ANC.
The WF-1000XM6 has HD noise canceling processor QN3e, which claims to provide 25 percent better noise cancellation than the previous model.
Separate feature for call quality
The earbuds have two microphones and bone conduction sensors on each side, which will improve the call quality. It also has gesture control, Gemini Assistant support and Gemini Live hands-free feature.
Talking about battery life, you get up to 8 hours of playback when ANC is on. The charging case weighs 47 grams and each earbud weighs 6.5 grams. Besides, it is also splash resistant with IPX4 rating.
