Two Wheeler Sales Jan 2026: India is the world’s largest two-wheeler market. From 100 cc bikes to bigger and liter class motorcycles are also available for daily commuting. Lakhs of two-wheelers are sold in the market every month, to which scooters also have a major contribution.
The same was seen in last month’s sale also. Six popular two-wheeler companies of the country together have sold a total of 22,62,880 units in January 2026. This figure shows an annual increase of 25.45 percent compared to the total 18,03,857 units sold by them in January 2025. Let us look at the sales reports of different companies.
Honda two-wheeler
Honda is at number one in the list. It has received a total of 5,74,711 new customers last month. This figure shows an impressive increase of 29.13 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 4,44,847 units sold in January 2025. In this way Honda has left Hero behind.
Hero MotoCorp
Hero is at second place in terms of sales. A total of 5,57,971 units were sold last month. This figure shows an annual increase of 25.97 percent compared to the total 4,42,873 units sold in January 2025.
TVS Motor
TVS is at third place in terms of sales. It has received a total of 4,94,195 new customers last month. This figure shows an annual increase of 27.48 percent compared to the total 3,87,671 units sold in January 2025.
Bajaj Auto
Bajaj is at fourth position on the basis of increase in sales. Last month it sold a total of 4,06,295 units. This figure shows an annual increase of 23.71 percent compared to the total 3,28,413 units sold in January 2025.
Suzuki two-wheeler
Suzuki has also come in the list of top-5 companies. It has sold a total of 1,25,786 units last month. This figure shows an annual increase of 15.48 percent compared to the total 1,08,921 two-wheelers sold in January 2025.
Royal Enfield
Royal Enfield sales have also increased. They have sold a total of 1,04,322 units last month. This figure shows an annual increase of 14.47 percent compared to the total 91,132 units sold in January 2025.
Let us tell you that the sales report mentioned above includes both domestic sales and exports. Hero MotoCorp, which has been continuously at number one, has been overtaken by Honda two-wheeler in the first month of the year 2026. At the same time, Suzuki has registered its name in the top-5 list, leaving RE behind.
