Bajaj Auto has given a big surprise to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) women’s team by winning the WPL 2026 title. The company has gifted its newly launched Chetak C25 electric scooter to every member of the team. This gift was presented in the name of “A Champion’s Welcome”.
Bajaj Chetak was the official ride partner of the RCB women’s team this season. What is special in Bajaj Chetak C25?
Chetak C25 is the latest electric scooter from Bajaj, which was launched in January 2026. It comes with smooth riding, epic vibes, great performance and eco-friendly features. It has a 2.5 kWh capacity NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery pack fitted under the floorboard. This battery powers a hub-mounted BLDC motor with 2.2 kW peak power. The company claims that the IDC-certified range is up to 113 km, while in real-world conditions it is around 80-90 km. The scooter has a top speed of 55 km/h with Eco and Sport modes. Charging from 0-80% with the 750W off-board charger takes 2 hours 25 minutes.
RCB won WPL for the second time
RCB women’s team won the title by defeating Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets in the final in Vadodara on 5 February 2026. The target of 204 runs was chased in 19.4 overs, which is the biggest successful chase in the WPL final. This victory was possible due to captain Smriti Mandhana’s inning of 87 runs and Georgia Wall’s contribution of 79 runs. After WPL 2024, now RCB has won this title for the second time. After this victory, this gesture of Bajaj not only promotes women’s cricket but also promotes electric vehicle adoption.
