OnePlus 15 India Launch: Know expected price, design, camera, chipset and more

OnePlus 15 launch: Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is preparing to launch its flagship smartphone OnePlus 15. This new flagship smartphone will be the successor to last year’s OnePlus 13. According to a leak, major design and processor upgrades can be seen in this smartphone. The upcoming OnePlus 15 is expected to have a 1.5K OLED flat display and a triple-lens rear camera setup. This device can be powered by Qualcomm’s next generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which is designed for premium smartphones.

OnePlus 15 Camera:
The camera module of OnePlus 15 may finally change after 3 years and three generations. Now instead of the round module, a square camera module can be seen in this smartphone. This camera module will be similar to the recently seen OnePlus 13s.

The camera module may have a 50MP main sensor, ultrawide sensor and periscope style telephoto sensor. The updates made to the camera module reflect the company’s strategy to revamp the design of its flagship.

OnePlus 15 processor and battery:
According to a leak by Digital Chat Station, OnePlus 15 may have the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. This processor is being launched this year, after which OnePlus 15 can also be launched. Qualcomm’s new chipset may come with a custom Oryon CPU and Adreno 840 GPU, with 16MB of dedicated cache that will improve speed and graphics handling.

OnePlus 15 will also be a true flagship in terms of battery. This smartphone will have a large battery of 7,000mAh, which will make it one of the smartphones with the largest battery capacity among flagship devices. However, the charging speed can be up to 100W, otherwise the device may have heating problems.

One Plus 15 Display:
Important updates can also be seen in the display of One Plus 15. This smartphone is expected to have a flat 1.5 K display, which will have very minimal bezels. This will be possible because of LIPO (Low Injection Pressure Overmolding) display packaging. This technology replaces traditional protective components with liquid polymer materials, which makes bezels thinner and can improve durability and manufacturing efficiency.

OnePlus 15 Price:
The OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in October, as revealed in a Weibo post by Digital Chat Station. Apart from this, the global debut of this smartphone is likely to happen in early 2026. The company’s last year’s flagship phone One Plus 13 was launched at Rs 69,999 for the 12 + 256 GB variant. Therefore, the price of the new model is also expected to be in the same premium range.
