TATA’s big announcement after GST cut, prices of trucks reduced by ₹ 4.65 lakh, buses also cheaper by ₹ 4.35 lakh

Tata Commercial Vehicle Price Post GST Cut: The country’s leading auto company Tata Motors has made a big announcement. The company has said that it will pass on the full benefit of GST reduction to its commercial vehicle customers. From September 22, prices of all Tata trucks, buses and other commercial vehicles will be reduced. The company said that increasing GST to 18% will strengthen the transport and logistics sector. This will reduce the costs of transporters, fleet operators and small businessmen.

According to the company, prices of heavy trucks (HCV) will be reduced by Rs 2.8 lakh to Rs 4.65 lakh. Light and medium trucks will be cheaper by Rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. There will be a reduction in the prices of buses and vans by Rs 1.2 lakh to Rs 4.35 lakh. Relief of Rs 52,000 to Rs 66,000 will be available on small passenger commercial vehicles. At the same time, pickup trucks will become cheaper by Rs 30,000 to Rs 1.1 lakh.

Tata cars will be cheaper by ₹ 1.45 lakh
Earlier, the company had also announced to reduce the prices of its passenger vehicles. The company had announced that it would reduce the prices of its passenger cars and SUVs by Rs 65,000 to Rs 1.45 lakh. The new prices will be applicable from September 22, 2025.

Which cars are how cheap?

• Tiago (small car) – There will be a price cut of Rs 75,000.
• Tigor (small car) – There will be a price cut of Rs 80,000.
• Altroz ​​(small car) – There will be a price cut of Rs 1.10 lakh.
• Punch (compact SUV) – There will be a price cut of Rs 85,000.
• Nexon (compact SUV) – There will be a price cut of Rs 1.55 lakh.
• Curve (mid-size SUV) – There will be a price cut of Rs 65,000.
• Harrier (Premium SUV) – There will be a price cut of Rs 1.40 lakh.
• Safari (Premium SUV) – There will be a price cut of Rs 1.45 lakh.

New GST system from 22nd September
Petrol/CNG vehicles up to 1200 cc and diesel vehicles up to 1500 cc (up to 4 meters in length) will now attract 18 percent GST, while engines above 1200 cc and vehicles longer than 4 meters will attract 40 percent GST. These new GST rates will be applicable from 22nd September (the first day of Navratri).
