Muzaffarpur’s vehicle dealer Dheeraj Kumar said that after the implementation of the new GST, any customer who purchases Maruti Suzuki’s Wagon R and Dezire cars will potentially save up to Rs 1 lakh, which can also make their budget easier because this car comes within 1200 cc and GST on cars below 1200 cc has reduced and on cars above that, it has increased. At present, 28% GST is levied on the purchase of Wagon R and Dezire vehicles, but after the implementation of the new GST, only 18% GST will be levied on it. This will save customers 10% and will also have a significant impact on its price. Dheeraj says that customers have already started booking for the purchase of Dezire and WagonR. Customers are coming daily from morning till evening. After the implementation of the new GST, everyone is making bookings for shopping in this festival itself.
