Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Know when Samsung’s powerful handset will be launched, know the price and features
New Delhi. Samsung is preparing its next flagship series, Galaxy S26, which will come after the launch of Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to have significant upgrades over its predecessor S25 Ultra. However, official information has not been revealed yet. Early leaks and rumors are circulating online, which give a glimpse of the possible features of this device.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G is expected to be launched in January next year. There is no information yet about the exact date, place and time of release. The S26 series is likely to include the vanilla Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
What will be the price?
According to leaked reports, the 16GB + 256GB variant of Galaxy S26 Ultra can come in India at a price of around ₹ 1,59,990. Initial estimates may change at the time of Samsung’s official launch.
According to the leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G will have a 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor and may have an enhanced vapor cooling chamber to improve thermal management. The battery capacity is expected to be 5,500mAh and it will support 60W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 60W fast charging support was announced in July 2025 by tipster Erencan Yılmaz on X (formerly known as Twitter). The tipster discovered this information in the firmware of a future One UI version, which is believed to be One UI 8.5.
The phone will have a quad-camera system, which will include a 200MP Sony main sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens, 50MP periscope telephoto lens and 12MP secondary telephoto lens.
In terms of design, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may adopt a pill-shaped camera island like the one on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and may ditch the floating camera design of the previous generation. Although the design renders have not been revealed yet, there is speculation that Samsung may bring either cosmetic or extensive design changes.
