The company has announced to stop manufacturing motorcycles. Yamaha says that there will be no bike manufacturing in the country, but customers will continue to get parts, warranty and technical support. Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Pvt) Limited shared this information through a stock exchange filing on September 9, 2025.
Yamaha Pakistan has four motorcycles – YBR 125, YBR 125G, YB 125Z and YB 125Z-DX. Has been making and selling. Their price ranges from 4,24,000 Pakistani rupees to 4,85,000 Pakistani rupees. Despite being expensive, Yamaha bikes are liked a lot in Pakistan. Many people will become unemployed due to the closure of Yamaha bike production in Pakistan. Besides, Pakistan’s efforts to attract foreign investment, which is going through a poor economic situation, will also be dealt a blow.
