New Delhi. Samsung has finally launched A17 5G in India. This phone was already available for sale in some global markets. This phone targets the midrange segment and brings AI features at an affordable price. Samsung claims that the A17 5G has key AI features like Gemini Live and Circle to Search. The design of this handset is simple and it has a triple-camera setup at the back.

What is special in this phone
The Samsung A17 5G has a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). It also has a 5-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera is 13-megapixel. This phone does not support 4K recording. The Samsung A17 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a teardrop notch. Its refresh rate is 90Hz. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Samsung A17 5G has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W charging. The thickness of the device is 7.5mm and its weight is 192g. Samsung claims that this device is the thinnest in its segment. The phone has also received IP54 rating to protect it from dust and water splashes. Samsung A17 5G is powered by Exynos 1330 chipset. The phone comes with the option of 6GB or 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

This device comes with One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung’s A series includes all One UI features, including Knox Security. A17 5G will get OS updates for 6 years and security patches for 6 years. Samsung A17 5G is available in three colors – Awesome Black, Awesome Blue and Awesome Grey.

A17 5G is now available for sale. The price of the phone starts from Rs 18,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The price of 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants is Rs 20,499 and Rs 23,499 respectively. Customers can avail Rs 1,000 off through HDFC and SBI credit cards on Samsung’s official website.
