Apple has introduced the new iPhone 17 series for India in its ‘Awe Dropping’ event. This time a total of four models have been brought which include iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. These new phones come with faster processor, better display, great camera and more storage options.
All phones are equipped with Apple Intelligence, which makes the phone smarter with the help of AI. Pre-booking of all iPhones will start from September 12 and the phones will be made available in stores from September 19, 2025.
iPhone 17 – Price, availability and features
The starting price of Apple iPhone 17 in India is ₹ 79,900, which is for the base model with 256GB storage. Apart from this, 512GB option will also be available. Colors include black, white, blue, sage and purple. Pre-booking will start from September 12 and the phone will be available from September 19.
This phone has a large 6.3 inch ProMotion display, which has 120Hz refresh rate and Always-On screen. With the A19 chip, the phone runs faster and the battery is also better than before. There is a 48MP primary camera and telephoto camera at the back. The front camera has also been upgraded and it will get center stage support. The phone will be charged up to 50% in just 20 minutes.
iPhone Air- Price, Availability and Features
Apple iPhone Air starts at ₹1,19,900 (256GB variant). It also has 512GB and 1TB storage. Colors include space black, cloud white, light gold and sky blue. Pre-booking will start from September 12 and the phone will be available from September 19.
This phone comes with titanium body, Ceramic Shield 2 protection and 6.5 inch ProMotion screen. It has support for A19 Pro chip, N1 and C1X chip for faster network. The camera comes with 48MP fusion setup and dual capture video recording. Its battery will last all day and the new MagSafe battery pack extends video playback to 40 hours.
iPhone 17 Pro- Price, Availability and Features
Apple iPhone 17 Pro starts at ₹1,34,900 (256GB variant). It also has 512GB and 1TB storage options. Colors include cosmic orange, deep blue and silver. The phone will be available for purchase from September 19.
The phone has Ceramic Shield 2 protection and aluminum body. With A19 Pro chip and vapor cooling system, this phone will perform well in gaming and AI tasks. It has three 48MP cameras, which include a 100mm telephoto lens. ProRes RAW and Genlock support will be available in video recording.
iPhone 17 Pro Max – Price, Availability and Features
The starting price of Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max is ₹ 1,49,900. It will have the option of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and for the first time 2TB storage. In terms of colour, these are cosmic orange, deep blue and silver. This phone will also be available from 19th September.
This phone comes with the biggest battery ever. It has A19 Pro chip, vapor cooling and 48MP triple camera system. The telephoto camera supports optical zoom up to 200mm and digital zoom up to 48x. Apple has paid special attention to increasing the battery life of the phone.
