Realme’s new powerful smartphone for gaming lovers, gets premium design and powerful 8000mAh battery
Realme has officially launched its new performance-focused smartphone Realme Neo 8 in China. This phone has been specially designed keeping in mind gaming users and power users. However, at present the company has not made any confirmation regarding its launch in India, but its powerful specifications make it a premium gaming device.
Realme Neo 8 has a 6.78-inch OLED display, which comes with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The company claims that Samsung’s latest display materials have been used in it, which provides better brightness and color quality.
Talking about performance, this smartphone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone has the option of up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. To keep the phone cool during long hours of gaming, it has been provided with advanced cooling system and special performance tuning modes.
Realme Neo 8 looks quite strong in the camera segment also. It has a 50MP primary camera (with OIS), 50MP telephoto lens and 8MP ultra-wide camera. The phone has a 16MP front camera for selfie.
The biggest feature of this phone is its large 8000mAh battery, which comes with 80W fast charging and bypass charging support. The bypass charging feature helps preserve the battery especially during gaming.
Talking about design, the phone has a metal frame and glass back, and it also comes with IP66, IP68 and IP69 rating, due to which it remains protected from water and dust to a great extent. It also includes stereo speakers, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and latest connectivity features.
How much is the price?
Talking about the price, its base variant in China starts from CNY 2,399, while the price of the top variant goes up to CNY 3,699. Overall, Realme Neo 8 emerges as a powerful gaming smartphone, which can be much talked about among tech lovers in the coming times.
