Samsung Display has introduced its new foldable display here, the most special thing about which is that the crease in the middle is almost not visible. The biggest complaint of foldable phone users for a long time has been that the place where the screen folds is clearly visible, but Samsung’s new display seems to eliminate this problem to a great extent.

Samsung Display, which is the display manufacturing unit of the South Korean company, was working on reducing the crease of foldable screens for the last few years. The company showed this new technology publicly on the first day of CES 2026. An in-display selfie camera has been provided in this display, that is, there is no hole-punch or notch visible anywhere on the screen. This makes the display look clearer, smoother and immersive.

Tipster Ice Universe has shared pictures of this display on social media platform X. According to him, Apple can use this same display in its first foldable iPhone, which is currently being called iPhone Fold. However, there has been no official confirmation on this from Apple or Samsung, so this information should be seen as a leak for the time being.

In the leaked pictures, the bezels of the foldable panel appear very thin and the corners are slightly curved. This design also matches the CAD renders of the recently revealed iPhone Fold. If reports are to be believed, the iPhone Fold can have a 5.5-inch cover screen on the outside and a large 7.8-inch foldable display on the inside.

It is being told that this phone can be about 9mm thick when folded and only 4.5mm thin when opened. Talking about the camera, it is expected to have dual camera setup at the back and two selfie cameras at the front. One on the inner screen and the other on the cover display.
