According to the company, these features will be gradually extended to all users. The most important feature is member tag. Through this, users can add a tag to their name in group chat, which makes their role or identity clear. The special thing is that the tag may be different according to each group. For example, in a family group the tag may be ‘Anna’s father’, whereas in a sports group the same user will be called ‘Goalkeeper’.

Can convert text into stickers
The second new feature is text stickers. Now users can type any word and convert it directly into a sticker. If you want, save the created text sticker in a sticker pack or send it immediately in the chat.

Will not miss important work or party
Apart from this, WhatsApp has also added events reminders. Now reminders can be sent in advance to people invited for any event created in the group. With this, things like party, meeting or call will be remembered on time.
