In the month of October, compared to last year, the sales of Hero scooters have increased and those of motorcycles have decreased. But despite this, more motorcycles have been sold and less scooters have been sold. Splendor is one of the best selling motorcycles in the country. Talking about total sales, the company has sold more than 6,35,000 two-wheelers in the entire month. However, total sales have also seen a decline compared to last year. According to Hero MotoCorp’s sales data for October 2025, the company sold 6,35,808 two-wheelers. This includes motorcycles, scooters, sales made in the country and exports made abroad. There has been a decline of 6.37% in total sales as compared to October 2024 last year, when the company had registered sales of 6,79,091 units. An interesting thing in the sales report is that the domestic sales (sales made in the country) of the company have decreased and exports have increased.
Decline in motorcycle sales
In October 2025, Hero Company recorded total sales of 5,70,753 motorcycles. However, last year in October 2024, the company had sold 6,35,787 units. Accordingly, the company sold 65,034 units less, which is a decline of 10.23% in sales. This is a sign of lack of demand. Despite the decline in sales, the share of motorcycles in total sales remained 89.77%.
Scooter sales increased
Talking about scooters, the company has recorded sales of 65,055 scooters in October 2025. There has been an increase of 50.23% in the sales of scooters compared to October 2024 last year, when the company got only 43,304 customers. This year the scooter segment performed brilliantly and its market share was 10.23%.
Domestic demand decreased, exports increased
There has been a decline in the domestic sales of the company in October 2025. The company was able to sell a total of 6,04,829 two-wheelers (motorcycles and scooters) in the entire month, which is 8% less than the 6,57,403 two-wheelers sold last year. Although the company’s domestic sales have declined, the number of units exported abroad has increased. In October 2025, the company exported 30,979 units, which is 6.37% more than last year in October 2024. Last year the company had exported 21,688 units.
