Kawasaki India has launched the updated Z1100 for Rs 12.79 lakh which includes a 1,099 cc engine, Showa suspension, Brembo brakes and many riding features. Kawasaki is a popular sports bike brand in many markets of the world including India. The brand’s bikes are very much liked in the global market. Now the company has unveiled the updated Z1100 in India.

Kawasaki India has launched the newly updated Z1100 in the country, which is priced at Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Minor design updates and technical upgrades have been made in this superbike compared to the previous model.

Firstly, the Kawasaki Z1100 is powered by a 1,099 cc 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 134 hp of power at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of peak torque at 7,600 rpm. This engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox which includes assist and slipper clutch.

The Z1100 is built on the same aluminum frame as the Ninja 1100SX and features fully adjustable Showa suspension units. While the standard Z1100 has Showa forks, the higher level SE variant gets Showa forks and an Öhlins S46 monoshock with remote preload adjuster.

Braking components of the standard Z1100 are almost identical to the Ninja 1100SX, using Kawasaki-branded Tokico radial calipers. However, the Z1100 features larger 310mm dual discs compared to the Ninja’s 300mm configuration.

The SE model features upgraded Brembo M4.32 calipers and steel-braided brake lines, providing a significant improvement over the standard version’s braking system.

In terms of features, the Kawasaki Z1100 includes several riding assistance features.

These include 2 power modes (full and low), 3-level traction control with the option to disable it, bidirectional quickshifter, cruise control, and dual-channel ABS, powered by a five-axis IMU (inertial measurement unit).
