    Former Australian batsman David Warner is at fifth place in the list of highest run scorers of T20 World Cup. Warner, who played for Australia from 2009 to 2024, scored a total of 984 runs in 41 matches.

    4- Jos Buttler (1013 runs)

    England’s experienced wicketkeeper-batsman and former white-ball captain Jos Buttler is also included in this list. At present, Butler, the only active player who has played T20 World Cup, is in fourth place. He has scored 1013 runs in the tournaments played from 2012 to 2024.

    3- Mahela Jayawardene (1016 runs)

    Former great Sri Lankan batsman Mahela Jayawardene is the third highest run-scorer in T20 World Cup history. He scored 1016 runs in 31 matches.

    2- Rohit Sharma (1220 runs)

    Former Indian captain Rohit Sharma is at second place in the list of highest run scorers in T20 World Cup history. Rohit, who last played the tournament in India’s 2024 T20 World Cup title win, scored a total of 1220 runs in 44 innings at a strike rate of 133.04.

    1- Virat Kohli (1292 runs)

    Virat Kohli, former captain of India and one of the great batsmen of modern cricket, tops this list. Kohli, who played 35 T20 World Cup matches between 2012 and 2024, has scored 1292 runs at an excellent average of 58.72 and strike rate of 128.81 and is the highest run-scorer in the history of the tournament.
