Ather Energy has announced to increase the prices of scooters by Rs 3,000 from January 1, 2026. There will be many benefits in the ‘Electric December’ campaign till December. Ather Energy has established itself as a popular electric scooter brand in India in a short time. The company’s Rizta scooter has reached more than 1 lakh homes in a short time.

New Delhi. Ather Energy has announced a price increase for its electric scooter portfolio, which will be effective from January 1, 2026. After this change, the prices of different models will increase by Rs 3,000. According to the company, this decision has been taken due to increase in global prices of raw materials, fluctuations in foreign exchange and increase in prices of major electronic components. Customers who are planning to buy Ather scooter can buy the scooter at the current prices till the end of December.
‘Electric December’ campaign
As part of the year-end ‘Electric December’ campaign, Ather is offering benefits of up to Rs 20,000 in select cities. In this, instant discount on credit card EMI, cash incentive and eight years extended battery warranty is being given for free on selected models under the 870 program. Apart from this, financing support is also available through many lenders.
Ather’s current portfolio
Ather’s current portfolio includes the performance-focused 450 series and the family-oriented Rizta electric scooter. The 450 range comes with technologies like multi-mode traction control, magic twist regenerative braking, Google Maps navigation, WhatsApp integration and connected features like call and music controls on the dashboard.
Rizta’s popularity
Rizta has emerged as a key growth driver for the brand, having recently crossed the two lakh sales mark. Designed keeping comfort and practicality in mind, this scooter has up to 56 liters of storage, wide seat and large floorboard. It also has safety features like SkidControl, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and theft and tow alert. At Ather Community Day 2025, the company had announced a touchscreen upgrade for the Rizzta Z variant.
