Honor is going to launch its new premium smartphones Honor Magic 8 Pro Air and Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design in China on January 19. Before the launch, the company has teased many important information related to these two smartphones, which has increased the excitement among the fans.

Honor has confirmed that the Magic 8 Pro Air will be equipped with a 5,500mAh ‘Qinghai Lake’ battery, whose energy density is said to be 917Wh/L. This means that despite being thin the phone will provide strong battery backup. This smartphone will be only 6.1mm thin and its weight will be about 155 grams, due to which it will give a very light and premium feel.

Will get 64 megapixel camera
Talking about the camera segment, Honor Magic 8 Pro Air will have 1/1.3-inch main camera sensor and 64MP periscope telephoto camera. The phone is expected to run on MediaTek Dimension 9500 processor. This smartphone will be available in four RAM and storage variants – 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB. Color options will include Fairy Purple, Light Orange, Feather White and Shadow.

At the same time, Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design will be introduced especially for users who like photography. The company has confirmed that a special camera kit will be available with it, which may include telephoto extender and camera grip. This phone will support CIPA 6.5-level image stabilization and 2.35x teleconverter.

Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design will be offered in Moonstone and Slate color options and can get up to 24GB of RAM. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset is expected to be provided in this phone. Overall, Honor Magic 8 series is going to make a big entry in the flagship segment with premium design, powerful performance and advanced camera features.
