Amazon Echo Show 11 comes with 11-inch display and spatial audio, know the price, features and what’s new?
Amazon has launched its new smart home devices Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 in India. These devices have been introduced in the Indian market about three months after their global launch. The new Echo Show models are specially designed for those users who want to use smart home control, entertainment and Alexa features on a larger display.
The price of Amazon Echo Show 11 in India has been kept at ₹ 26,999. This device is available in Glacier White and Graphite color options. Whereas, the price of Echo Show 8 is ₹ 23,999. Apart from Amazon India website, both smart displays can also be purchased at offline stores of Flipkart, Reliance Digital and Croma.
Display and Design
Echo Show 11 has a 10.95-inch full HD touchscreen display, whose resolution is 1920×1200 pixels. Whereas Echo Show 8 has an 8.7-inch full HD display. The design of Echo Show 11 comes with premium 3D knit fabric finish, which gives it a modern look.
Performance and software
These new smart displays of Amazon run on the company’s custom chipset. Echo Show 11 has AZ3 Pro and Echo Show 8 has AZ3 chip. Both devices work on the new Vega OS. These include a new Alexa+ home screen experience, which shows personalized information, reminders and notifications. However, Alexa+ service is not available in India yet.
Camera and smart home features
Both Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 have a 13MP camera, which supports Visual ID. This feature identifies the user and shows information related to him on the screen. These devices can also be connected with smart cameras, video doorbells and other smart home gadgets.
Audio and Privacy
For media, they have front-facing stereo speakers and custom woofers, which support spatial audio. Amazon has also taken special care of privacy. These include microphone mute button, camera control and facility to delete recording from Alexa app.
