OnePlus 16 leaked: Next flagship may come with 9000mAh battery, expected to get 200MP camera

Although OnePlus has not made an official announcement yet, but according to reports, a powerful camera setup, ultra high refresh rate display and a very large battery can be seen in OnePlus 16.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, a new 200MP periscope telephoto camera can be given in OnePlus 16. This sensor will be larger than that of OnePlus 15, which will enable better zoom and low-light photography.
Apart from this, the phone is said to have two 50MP camera sensors, a 200MP primary sensor and a multispectral sensor. This additional sensor will help in improving color accuracy and image processing in photos.
Talking about the display, a flat panel can be seen in OnePlus 16, which will support refresh rate more than 200Hz. If this happens, then this smartphone can be included in the phones with the smoothest display in the market.
Big upgrade in battery and processor also
According to leaks, OnePlus is working on a new ‘Glacier Battery’, whose capacity can be around 9000mAh. This will be a big upgrade compared to OnePlus 15 and longer battery backup can be expected.
For performance, the phone is likely to have Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, which can be considered the most powerful processor of that time.
OnePlus 16 launch timeline and price
According to initial reports, OnePlus 16 can be launched in December 2026 or January 2027. Along with OnePlus 16, OnePlus 16 Pro model can also come in this series. Talking about the price, its probable price in India can be between Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000.
