Mohammad Nazim Ahmed, counter operator of the exhibition of Mahindra tractors in the agricultural fair organized in Bettiah, says that the government has provided good subsidy facility on Mahindra’s 55 horse power four wheel drive tractor. Farmers can take advantage of this and purchase tractors. For this they just have to collect some documents and reach the Mahindra tractor showroom with them. After a few days of process, they will get the approval letter from the Agriculture Department for purchasing the tractor with the facility of subsidy.
Special discount of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand
According to Nazim, to avail subsidy facility, documents like LPC (Land Position Certificate) and farmer registration are mandatory for the farmers. By submitting these documents online on OFMASS Bihar site, the process of purchasing tractor with subsidy will start. As subsidy, farmers will get Mahindra four wheel drive tractor (55 horse power) worth Rs 12 lakh at a discount of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand.
Features of four wheel drive tractor
Nazim explains that a four wheel drive tractor can easily pull even the largest equipment used in agriculture. Since all four wheels of this tractor rotate simultaneously, there is no risk of overturning while driving a tractor with heavy weight. Also, the average of four wheel drive tractors is also higher as compared to other tractors. In such a situation, diesel consumption reduces and the scope of savings also increases.
